What you've never had is someone who checks.
Four pillars · Four months · One-to-one
Tell me what's out of order. I read every one of these myself.
Goes straight to me. No list, no sequence.
The notebook lasted eleven days. The app lasted three weeks, and it's still installed.
January lasted until the second week of February. You didn't decide to stop. You just stopped opening it, and then it had been a while, and then it was March.
You don't lack discipline. You use it every day at work, where other people are counting on you and would notice.
That's the whole difference. At work, someone notices.
Alone, nothing notices. You can write I need to sort my space out six months running and no one will ever put those six months side by side and ask what the sixth one cost.
You didn't need more resolve. You needed a witness.
Most people are drifting in at least one without admitting which. The system measures all four and refuses to let you ignore the one you've been avoiding.
You can't rebuild four domains at once. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling enthusiasm. Each month belongs to one pillar. The other three keep being tracked, and when one starts contradicting the others, we deal with it.
Same three questions, same day, every week for sixteen weeks. It's deliberately short. The point isn't the writing. The point is that it goes to someone.
We settle that when we talk. It's paid for the four months rather than by the month — you're not renting access to me. You're committing to an arc with an end, and paying at the start is the first thing you're held to.
I'm running this with a small number of people for the first time, at a rate that reflects it. In exchange I'll ask you at the end to tell me plainly what worked and what didn't.
The app is free. Same four pillars, same four judges, and the same monthly Mirror that sets your words beside your conduct and asks about the difference.
It will track you honestly. It will notice when a pillar has gone untouched for twenty-eight days. It will quote what you wrote in April back to you in July.
What it can't do is expect anything of you. Software has no expectations. That turns out to be the part that matters.
"Thirty days are spent. Tell me what you built."
You don't need to be sure. A sentence about what's out of order is enough to start.
